TRIBUTO GIANNINI ALLA 457 STUPINIGI EXPERIENCE

GRAM Torino Engineering omaggia lo storico marchio romano con la debuttante 350GP4, esposta insieme alle proprie progenitrici.

La Giannini 350GP4, con oltre 300 cavalli abbinati alla trazione integrale ed alla carrozzeria in carbonio in configurazione 2 posti più roll bar o 4 posti, è la prima supercitycar della storia, concept automobilistico ideato e realizzato da GRAM Torino Engineering: per celebrare la continuità con la storia delle elaborazioni della Casa Romana è organizzata un'esposizione dedicata in occasione della tappa autunnale della 457 Stupinigi Experience.
L'esposizione metterà l'accento sulle elaborazioni Giannini su base FIAT 500, rileggendola in quattro step fondamentali: si partirà dalla pre-serie del Cinquino del Giugno 1957 affiancandole uno dei primi esemplari di Giannini per impiego civile, schierato per l'occasione dal Club Scuderie Reali. Le Giannini nacquero sin da subito come varianti “pepate” ed il passo successivo fu la declinazione racing: a ricordarlo interverrà Zanella Auto, schierando una 650NP a carreggiate allargate già a lungo protagonista delle competizioni italiane. Ed è proprio alle carreggiate maxi ed all'anima racing che fa fortemente richiamo la 350GP4, che chiuderà l'esposizione in quattro esemplari guardando al futuro del marchio con l'introduzione del 4x4.
La tappa autunnale della 457 Experience fa richiamo a ciò che accadde a Stupinigi il 18 Ottobre 1955, quando venne presentato il prototipo della futura 500, all'epoca ancora sotto il nome di progetto 400: il progetto 400 venne poi re-ingegnerizzato nel progetto 450 ed infine messo in vendita nel 1957 con il nome di “Nuova 500”, dalle cui cifre di transizione la nascita del progetto 457 firmato da Ruzza Torino, acronimo e sintesi delle origini dell'utilitaria italiana.
Il 18 Ottobre 1955, insieme al progetto 400 vennero presentati numerosi altri progetti di auto di origini torinese, fra cui la 600, la 600 Multipla, la Bianchina ed alcune varianti della 1100 e 1200.
Ciò che accadde nell'autunno del 1955 verrà rivisitato il prossimo 6 Ottobre come appuntamento riservato all'automobilismo di origine Torinese, con la presenza di veicoli di ogni tipo ed era, purché collegati all'indotto della Mole. Oltre al Club Scuderie Reali saranno presenti diverse altre associazioni, alcune anche per celebrare importanti anniversari, come Abarth Club Torino in festa per i 70 anni dello Scorpione o il FIAT 128 Club Italia attivo nel 50esimo compleanno della iconica vettura costruita nello stabilimento di Rivalta Torinese. Si potranno ammirare altre grandi vetture torinesi grazie all'intervento del Club Topolino FIAT Torino, del Club X1/9 Italia, del FIAT Rimo Club Italia e del 500 Landia, mentre il Bianchina Club interverrà a ricordare come il Cinquino avesse fin dalla nascita una variante premium, meglio rifinita.
Gli equipaggi raggiungeranno Stupinigi al mattino per le verifiche tecniche con cui entreranno in gara per il Gran Gala Ceirano, competizione a punti titolata in omaggio a quei fratelli Ceirano dal cui genio nacque tutto l'indotto automobilistico torinese, comprese anche la FIAT e la Lancia. Il Gran Gala Ceirano è aperto a vettura di ogni tipo ed era, purché riconducibili all'indotto torinese e la competizione verte su doppio meccanismo: una classifica nasce dalle preferenze del pubblico ed un'altra dalla valutazione delle vetture su parametri oggettivi; la sommatoria delle due classifiche genera quella generale ed il vincitore, unico premiato della giornata.
Gli equipaggi partiranno in parata nel primo pomeriggio, verso Casa Martini, dove la giornata si chiuderà con un drink conviviale e la premiazione finale: in palio il Fritz d'Argento, preziosa riproduzione in scala dell'elefante di Stupinigi, per l'occasione esposto fra i mitici colori racing di Martini a Pessione di Chieri.
LGR Prototipi del docente di motorismo Ludovico Gonella darà luce ad un'altra leggenda del passato, esponendo i nuovi sviluppi raggiunti nella realizzazione del prototipo di FIAT 500 a motore motociclistico, sulla scia di quanto realizzato alle origini della storia del Cinquino.

GIANNINI TRIBUTE AT THE 457 STUPINIGI EXPERIENCE

GRAM Torino Engineering honors the historic Roman brand with debutante 350GP4, exhibited together with its ancestors.

The Giannini 350GP4, with over 300 horsepower combined with all-wheel drive and a carbon body in configuration 2 seats plus rollbar or 4 seats, is the first supercity car in history, an automotive concept conceived and created by GRAM Torino Engineering: to celebrate the continuity with the history of the Roman Make elaborations is organized an exhibition dedicated during the autumn round of the 457 Stupinigi Experience.
The exhibition will focus on Giannini elaborations on a FIAT 500 basis, re-reading it in four fundamental steps: we will start from the Cinquino pre-series of June 1957 alongside one of the first examples of Giannini for civil use, deployed for the occasion by the Club Scuderie Reali. The Giannini were born from the beginning as "peppery" variants and the next step was the racing declination: Zanella Auto will take note of this, fielding a 650NP with wide lanes already long protagonist of Italian competitions. And it is precisely the maxi roadway and the racing soul that strongly recalls the 350GP4, which will close the exhibition in four cars looking at the future of the brand with the introduction of the 4x4.
The autumn stage of the 457 Experience refers to what happened at Stupinigi on October 18, 1955, when the prototype of the future 500 was presented, at the time still under the project name 400: the project 400 was then re-engineered in the project 450 and finally put up for sale in 1957 with the name "Nuova 500", from whose transitional numbers the birth of the 457 project signed by Ruzza Torino, acronym and synthesis of the origins of the Italian economy car.
On October 18, 1955, together with the 400 project were presented many other car projects of Turin origin, including the 600, the 600 Multipla, the Bianchina and some variants of the 1100 and 1200.
What happened in the autumn of 1955 will be revisited on October 6th as an appointment reserved for motoring of Torinese origin, with the presence of vehicles of all types and era, provided they are connected to the Mole branch. In addition to the Club Scuderie Reali, there will be several other associations, some also to celebrate important anniversaries, such as the Abarth Club Torino celebrating Scorpio's 70th anniversary or the FIAT 128 Club Italia active on the 50th birthday of the iconic car built in the Rivalta Torinese plant. You will be able to admire other great Turin cars thanks to the intervention of the Club Topolino FIAT Torino, the Club X1 / 9 Italia, the FIAT Rimo Club Italia and the 500 Landia, while the Bianchina Club will intervene to remember how the Cinquino had since its birth a variant premium, better finished.
The crews will reach Stupinigi in the morning for the technical checks with which they will enter the race for the Gran Gala Ceirano, a points competition titled in homage to those Ceirano brothers from whose genius the whole automotive industry in Turin was born, including FIAT and Lancia. The Grand Gala Ceirano is open to all types of cars and was, as long as they can be traced back to Turin and the competition is based on a double mechanism: a ranking is born from the preferences of the public and another from the evaluation of the cars on objective parameters; the sum of the two classifications generates the general and the winner, the only awarded of the day.
The crews will leave on parade in the early afternoon, towards Casa Martini, where the day will end with a convivial drink and the final prize-giving: the Silver Fritz, a precious scale reproduction of Stupinigi's elephant, for the occasion among the legendary racing colors of Martini at Pessione di Chieri.
LGR Prototypes of the motoring teacher Ludovico Gonella will give light to another legend of the past, exposing the new developments achieved in the creation of the prototype of the FIAT 500 with a motorcycle engine, in the wake of what was realized at the origins of the Cinquino story.
